Dániel Bedő, Tripont’s Phase One specialist, held a digitisation workshop in the ceremonial hall of the Hungarian National Museum. The event took place as part of the World Press Photo exhibition. World Press Photo was held at the Hungarian National Museum for the fourth time. The exhibition displayed 151 photographs, each reflecting the social and political events of 2020. The workshop was opened by the exhibition’s chief organiser, Tamás Révész, a Béla Balázs Award-winning photographer and press photographer.

Visitors with a purchased ticket could register free of charge and take part in the workshop. Those interested got to know more closely the camera system developed specially for flat-object digitisation, the Danish-made Phase One. With the manufacturer’s equipment it is possible to produce a digital image of any type of positive, roll film, slide or glass negative. All this while the original stays safe. Attendees could also bring their own negatives to the event, which were then digitised together with the expert. After that the participants could have an informal conversation with Tripont’s digitisation expert.
