As part of the World Press Photo 2021 exhibition, experts, together with the Hungarian National Museum, invite those interested to a film and glass plate digitisation workshop. The event begins at 16:00 on 8 October 2021.

The demonstration offers an insight into the workflow, from the high-quality digitisation of transparent materials all the way to their processing. A member of Tripont’s staff awaits at the interactive presentation those who arrive with their own film or glass plate; the lucky winners, chosen by draw, will have their materials scanned to show what today’s modern technology is capable of. Tripont has been present on the Hungarian photo and video technology market for more than 25 years. As the Central European representative of Phase One camera systems, it is at the forefront of producing digital reproductions of flat objects, transparent materials and 3D captures.

Speaker: Dániel Bedő, Phase One specialist, member of staff of Tripont Cultural Heritage Solutions

Target audience of the event: lovers of analogue photography, grand masters of archaic techniques.

Participation fee: HUF 2,600 per person (includes visiting the World Press Photo exhibition and taking part in the programme).
