Our mission
Tripont Foto Video Kft. was founded in 2008; we have worked in cultural heritage digitisation for more than 10 years, with the aim of making modern digitisation technology accessible to the libraries, archives and museums of Hungary and the region. We work from our studio in Reitter Ferenc utca, and we also travel to wherever the collection is.
The material is always at the centre of our work: a 16th-century manuscript, a nitrate negative, a medieval charter or a three-dimensional object. Every project is a unique challenge, and for each we look for the right tool, from the ScanRobot automatic scanner through Phase One cameras to multispectral systems.
We do not just sell equipment: we install it, train users, design workflows, and also digitise on a contract basis. This work stands behind more than 6 million digitised pages and more than 200 projects.

We digitised the Coronation Mantle to FADGI 4-star quality. To meet image quality standards, we set up the systems with on-site calibration.

As the representative of Phase One systems in Hungary, I work on organising digitisation processes efficiently. I feel lucky to work with the world’s best digitisation toolkit, and to have been able to learn how to get the most out of these systems.
