The occasion for the event held on 17 November 2022 was that this year Tripont entered the Romanian market as Phase One’s official distributor. The Brewery studio, located in the heart of Bucharest, provided the venue for the international workshop that the Tripont Cultural Heritage Solutions team and the local studio owner organised together.

Several renowned Romanian institutions were represented at this unique event. These included the National Museum of Romanian History, the National Museum of Contemporary Art, the National Museum of Old Maps and Books, the Central University Library of Bucharest, the AGERPRES National News Agency and many others.

Our digitisation specialist gave a detailed presentation of Phase One’s professional digitisation camera system and illustrated the process step by step. During the workshop, visitors could also digitise their own analogue materials, gaining first-hand experience.

In addition, the photo-diagnostic process of Phase One Rainbow was presented, illustrated on an oil painting. Visitors could experience at first hand the wonder of bringing out details invisible to the human eye.

The Heritage digital archive service was also presented, which stands out even among the most up-to-date archive services with its innovative features. These include the unique live OCR and the option of OCR correction, as well as its finely tuned search system with artificial intelligence features. During the presentation, among other things, the system’s image download speed was also tested, which likewise impressed the visitors.

Phase One’s new aerial camera system was also exhibited, the PayLoad P3, which is also suitable for photogrammetry and mapping solutions and, with its 35 mm lens, can cover an area of up to 706 square metres from a distance of 25 metres.

Our workshop ended successfully. The aim of the event was for Romanian institutions, too, to get to know our company, our work and the most professional digitisation solutions we offer.
