A new milestone for Phase One Hungary

Phase One Hungary has reached another milestone. Its latest aerial camera system, the P3 Payload, is now available in Hungary too. The equipment of the Danish company, known for its medium-format cameras, quickly follows the developing and changing industrial and aerial imaging market. The Phase One P3 Payload is a plug-and-play solution integrated on the DJI Matrice 300 drone.

The device is excellent for surveying industrial and agricultural areas, inspecting bridges and power lines, developing mapping applications, checking solar panels and radio towers, and aerial imaging of construction work and archaeological excavations. Its distinguishing feature is that it performs outstandingly in challenging natural environments. The device does not suffer condensation at temperatures between 0 and 40 °C and humidity between 15% and 80%.

With a 35 mm lens, the Phase One P3 iXM 100 MP can cover up to 706 square metres of area in a single photo from a distance of 25 metres. Thanks to the greater coverage, fewer images need to be taken, so the given tasks can be completed faster and better. Using smart focus, the drone continuously measures the distance to the object, so even the first photo taken is sharp. The device has RTK (Real Time Kinematic) real-time kinematic positioning and is capable of producing high-accuracy (1-2 cm) measurement results. The Phase One lenses meet the highest quality standards as supplied from the factory and are calibrated accordingly, and they can deliver perfect performance in varying weather, in low light and in high-contrast situations.

The device was fitted by its manufacturers with the medium-format Phase One iXM camera system. The iXM cameras are characterised by a wide dynamic range, and numerous RSM lens options are available for them, from 35mm to 150 mm. A great advantage of the device is that it can be calibrated extremely quickly and operated simply, and it also has a long operating time. Flight planning and scheduling is done with the DJI Pilot app, and the images can be processed with the Capture One programme.
