The latest BookTEK and WideTEK systems have arrived – the newest book scanner and large-format document scanner novelties!

The latest professional digitisation systems from Image Access GmbH are now available in Tripont’s range: the renewed BookTEK 5 V1A, BookTEK 5 V2 and BookTEK 5 V3 models, as well as the WideTEK 36F, WideTEK 36ART-600 and WideTEK 36 systems designed for large-format document and fine art scanning.
The Bookeye brand name officially continues as BookTEK; the new generation is even faster, even more accurate and even better integrated into modern digitisation workflows. The complete professional range of book scanners and large-format document scanners is now available at Tripont.
BookTEK overhead book scanners are designed specifically for the gentle digitisation of bound documents, books, albums, maps and fragile archival materials. The V-shaped support, automatic focus, high-resolution CCD technology and the Scan2Net platform ensure stable, network-based operation. The top model works with an optical resolution of up to 600 × 600 dpi and an A1+ digitisation area, making it an ideal choice for archives, libraries and university collections as well.

The BookTEK 5 V1A is one of the largest-format book scanners, capable of detailed digitisation over an area of up to 635 × 914 mm. The BookTEK 5 V2 is the ideal tool for A2+ archival tasks, with fast full scanning in as little as 1 second. The BookTEK 5 V3 series offers professional quality in a more compact design, easy to integrate even in smaller institutional and reprography environments.

In large-format document scanning, map scanning and fine art digitisation, the WideTEK family represents a new level. The digitisation of maps, CAD drawings, design documentation and works of art is now a task of strategic importance for archiving, conservation documentation and reproduction purposes.
The WideTEK 36ART-600 is designed for contactless fine art scanning; it can handle artefacts up to 914 × 1524 mm in size and up to 100 mm in thickness, with 600 dpi optical resolution and a 3D texture mode. It is ideal in museum and gallery environments, where minimising physical contact is key.
With its feeder system, the classic WideTEK 36 enables fast digitisation of large quantities of maps, plans and technical documents, at resolutions of up to 1,200 × 1,200 dpi.
A particularly important novelty is the WideTEK 36F. This A1+ flatbed large-format document scanner works over an area of 36 × 24 inches (approx. 915 × 610 mm), with full-colour scanning in as little as 6 seconds at 600 dpi. The hardware resolution of 1,200 × 1,200 dpi, the scratch-resistant glass surface and the precise colour management (sRGB and Adobe RGB support) ensure archival quality. The built-in Linux-based system and network integration guarantee stable, industrial-grade operation for digitisation workshops and institutional environments. The WideTEK 36F is an ideal choice when high resolution, precise colour reproduction and fast flatbed digitisation of A1+ documents are important.

The BookTEK and WideTEK systems now available at Tripont cover the entire professional spectrum, from book scanning through large-format document digitisation all the way to fine art object scanning.
